  6. The orchards around my place are in full swing. The Honeycrisp variety is popular and are so sweet and delicious. Your words add the poetic touch they deserve. Very good stuff. As I was typing, I thought I should say something about the photograph, then I remembered, it is of flowers, beautiful peonies, but there is an apple there, waiting to be eaten.

    Peace.

  8. "I breathe in - Color"

Lovely haiku, Noelle. So perfect for this color-ripe painting. I love the way you chose an unexpected sense to make us "see" your response in a new way.

  10. Noelle, this is so lovely. So sorry the first comment was lost - I'll try again. I swear I can smell (and taste!) that apple. The color is so warm and rich - inhale deeply! Wonderful haiku.

  13. I love that-to breathe in colour! It is like hearing music and seeing colours-is it synesthesia(something like that but probably wrong spelling!)
