Mmmmm. I the aroma is wonderful. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful words and so right with the photo.
ReplyDeleteLovely picture. Lovely haiku too.
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Boonie
Fantastic!! I breathe the essence of Haiku and in color too!!
ReplyDeleteGreat work, loved it :)
This haiku welcomes fall like nothing else I've read. Happy October!!
ReplyDeleteThe orchards around my place are in full swing. The Honeycrisp variety is popular and are so sweet and delicious. Your words add the poetic touch they deserve. Very good stuff. As I was typing, I thought I should say something about the photograph, then I remembered, it is of flowers, beautiful peonies, but there is an apple there, waiting to be eaten.
ReplyDeletePeace.
what could hold more beauty than involving all the senses?
ReplyDeletethank you for filling mine.
"I breathe in - Color"
ReplyDeleteLovely haiku, Noelle. So perfect for this color-ripe painting. I love the way you chose an unexpected sense to make us "see" your response in a new way.
Oh, I can see the colour of happiness.. thanks..
ReplyDeleteNoelle, this is so lovely. So sorry the first comment was lost - I'll try again. I swear I can smell (and taste!) that apple. The color is so warm and rich - inhale deeply! Wonderful haiku.

This is exquisite (and you know I love peonies). It touches my heart and lights my senses.
ReplyDeleteThanks for recommenting Deb! I hated to lose what you said.
ReplyDeleteI love that-to breathe in colour! It is like hearing music and seeing colours-is it synesthesia(something like that but probably wrong spelling!)
ReplyDeleteEveryone, thanks for the lovely comments. I usually see them in my email. I think google was playing tricks on me today but I went to my blog moderation and there they all were, a lovely surprise! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes, Sarah, I think it is the right spelling. It's great!
Hi Noelle,
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful Autumnal Haiku! It is all here in your words and photos, this special feeling of the season which is my very favorite!
Thank you for your essence here!
