  1. That's better. I searched and searched earlier, but no haiku. Beautiful photo. I think she can talk to them as they talk to her. Very nice all around.

    Peace

  2. Thanks, Joe.
I made this one a long time ago, but she is close to my heart being one of
my earliest posts and one of my favorite haikus. I love the lullabye too.
The photo was taken in France by a German photographer who is now a friend.
Thanks for coming back. I am at work but will check yours out momentarily.
    Peace and Love,
    Noelle

Pigeons and children just seem to gravitate toward each other all over the world!

  7. Marit,
Thank you. She is not my daughter. She is a little girl that the
photographer saw when he was in France. The photographer is a friend. I
posted this a year ago and liked it so much I thought I would show it again.
I made it a bit larger so I lost the original comments. I wish that she
were my daughter. That is a lovely compliment. Thank you very much.
    xoxo,
    Noelle

  12. Lovely and loving.  I'm reminded of how I once as a child had decided that I would be a bird when I grew up.

  14. Hi Noelle~  (Sorry to be late; I've been stuck and am now becoming unstuck---)   I love this very French image!  The proportions of the little girl and the birds appear to put them on a level playing field, and the birds' animal spirits are bringing a sign = aviary guides.  There are four birds: four represents balance and groundedness, euqal amounts of the four elements (air, fire, eath, and water).  Love the poetry & alliteration of "serenade with songs."  There are no words for the Secret Garden video and that voice!  Late Romanticism, Victorian , Waterhouse... Fairies, angels, and birds can all take flight...  xxoo
p.s.:  Your ever-changing blog borders are always exquisite.  The dandelion diviners could be parachuters!  The sunset above the sea!  The beauty of summer...
